Raíz is an album to take jazz as freedom and identity. A commitment to the musical richness of an island that sprouts rhythms and to the curiosity of a generation that seeks inward to dialogue outward. Research, exploration, integration of the ancestral with contemporary elements, percussion and synthesizers and a more intimate and expressive work with the guitar as the composer's main instrument.
